Gyvelborg Natuurcamping – where nature welcomes you

Welcome to the heart of Central Jutland! Here, between the rolling hills and vast nature, you’ll find a lovely place to be together outdoors and feel at home. Our nature camping is open year-round for everyone seeking peace in Danish nature.

The campsite

Our campsite has its own walking trail – perfect for a relaxing walk through the beautiful nature. You might spot a deer or other wild animals along the way! In our forests, children can build huts and create their own special places – here they are captains of their own adventure.

At Gyvelborg there’s always something to experience! Besides our alpacas, we have rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs and fish. Children can discover frogs and salamanders everywhere on the grounds – a wonderful place for little nature lovers! During the season, children can help pick berries, which we process together into delicious homemade jam.

The ideal base

Gyvelborg is located near the historic Hærvej and is a good base for your Danish adventures. About 30 km away (30 minutes drive) you’ll find Silkeborg and Legoland, with many more fun excursions nearby.

On your way to Norway or Sweden? Then Gyvelborg is a perfect stopover! Break your journey north with a relaxing overnight stay in nature. Or make it a mini-vacation and stay 2-3 days to truly unwind and discover our surroundings.

Whether you come with a tent, caravan, motorhome, camper van, folding trailer or hiking tent – you are warmly welcome at Gyvelborg! Our 30 spacious camping pitches provide space for all forms of camping. Enjoy the freedom to choose how you want to experience nature, while having access to all our facilities.

Please note: Motorhomes and caravans longer than 7.5 meters unfortunately cannot be placed due to the natural layout of our camping pitches.
